I recently represented the NCSCA at the NC School Psychology Association Conference in Raleigh. Although the conference was a lot smaller than our NCSCA Conference in Greensboro, I was able to share lots of information about our organization and the school counseling profession. I distributed the school counselor job description as well as information on the roles of elementary, middle, and secondary counselors. Attendees were very interested in the ASCA National Model and were eager to learn how to collaborate with school counselors in their respective districts.
